La migración a digital se realizó en el marco del proyecto "Rescate del archivo CEMA" financiado por ICAU y con colaboración de FIC-Udelar en 2010. El casete U-matic se encuentra en las instalaciones de AGU.
Immediate source of acquisition or transfer
Los casetes U-matic se encontraban en instalaciones del Canal municipal TV Ciudad desde 1998 c. Luego del proyecto de rescate a partir de 2012 quedan en depósito transitorio en las instalaciones del AGU.
