Montevideo, 1940. Musicólogo y fue militante del Centro de Estudiantes de Arquitectura desde fines de la década de 1950. En 2009, en el marco del proyecto “Organización y puesta en servicio de la documentación de la Federación de Estudiantes Universitarios del Uruguay” financiado por el Programa de Apoyo al Desarrollo de Archivos Iberoamericanos del Ministerio de Cultura y Deporte de España, Aharonián donó al AGU varios números de La Gaceta Universitaria.
